Why should I shop with Lion’s Lair?
Our goal is to help you find the correct size the first time. We truly want to help you! All orders are processed by the same staff that work in our brick and mortar store locations. We see the product on real people, not just pictures on a website, and understand the nuances of fit.
If you haven't yet provided us with your measurements, we encourage you to do so. Every brand has its own unique size scale and fit. Please take advantage of our fitting expertise and allow us to guide you when making your selections.
Why do you request my measurements?
Providing us with your measurements helps us ensure you receive the best size for your build. Every company sizes differently, and sizes can vary within brands from style to style or between fabrics types. Working with your measurements helps us minimize returns & exchanges, and enables us to provide you with the best service.
I don’t see what I am looking for. Is everything that you offer on your website?
The selection in our stores is vast, and it is difficult for us to upload everything onto our website. Email us to receive a personalized inventory of what we have in stock in your size. Want the same style that you bought from us 15 years ago? If you are in our system, we can look up your purchase history and find you the same fit you loved in the latest color trends. Looking for something specific? We are happy to place special orders and help you find exactly what you are looking for. We specialize in carrying hard to find sizes, if we don't have it in stock, we can get it for you.
Why was I contacted with a size recommendation that differs from the size that I usually buy?
Our goal is first time fit success. If we don't think the size that you are ordering is the best fit for you, we will contact you and let you know. We will never edit your order without your permission. If you would prefer to compare our recommended size with the size you are requesting, we can attach a home-fitting pass to our recommendation. If we are wrong, you can return the item for a full refund with no restocking fee. If you keep the size we recommend, and return the size that you originally requested, it will be subject to our usual return policy.
What is your Shipping Policy?
Shipping within the US is $10 and purchases over $100 receive complimentary shipping. International orders receive complimentary shipping on orders over $250.
In stock merchandise ships within 72 hours of order placement. If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will contact you with an expected restock and ship date.
Shipments within the United States will incur a $10 shipping & handling fee. International orders will incur a $30 USD shipping & handling fee for orders under $250, orders over $250 will receive complimentary shipping.
All customs charges and any use taxes outside the state of Florida are the responsibility of the customer.
Expedited Shipping is available for an additional charge. Priority Mail Express is the fastest mail service offered by the Postal Service. It provides guaranteed 1-Day or 2-Day expedited service by 3 p.m. and includes $100 of insurance coverage. Express Mail requires a signature. If you choose to waive the signature requirement, the insurance becomes void.
What is your Return Policy?
We always aim to send you the best size for your build, but sometimes things need to be exchanged. Call us within 7 days of receiving your package to consult with us about fit and for a Return Authorization number. Items must have all tags intact, and be in new condition, never worn nor laundered.
A STORE CREDIT will be issued for all returned items. REFUNDS incur a $5.00 restocking fee per item. Shipping costs will be deducted from returns if the retained value falls below our free shipping threshold.
Please contact us at (386)454-0994 in High Springs or email@example.com for a Return Authorization number. Overdue or unauthorized returns will result in a 25% restocking fee. Customers are responsible for shipping charges on all returned and exchanged items. If a prepaid return label is provided, its cost will be deducted from any refunded monies.
Special orders must be pre-paid, are non-refundable, non-returnable and do not qualify for discounts or shipping credits. Discounted items are Final Sale. Sale items are not subject to exchange or return. "Gift with purchase" items must be returned if the "purchased" item is returned. Failure to do so will result in you being charged the full retail price of the "gift" item.
How did Lion’s Lair get its name?
Lion's Lair was founded in 1996 as an outlet for the artwork of our company's owner, Kimberly Berger. The original 700 sq ft store was named for the majestic cats that were her favorite subject. Lion's Lair's original brick and mortar Florida Keys location grew to occupy 4000 sq ft, and evolved into a destination store for women in search of specialty sizes. A second location was opened in High Springs, Florida in 2019 and became the Lion's Lair headquarters in 2023.
