Why should I shop with Lion’s Lair?
Our goal is to help you find the right fit the first time. Every order is processed by the same knowledgeable staff who have been trained in our brick-and-mortar locations, where we see how each product fits real people, not just models. If you haven’t provided your measurements yet, we encourage you to do so. Every brand fits differently, and we’re here to guide you with personalized recommendations that minimize returns and ensure confidence in your purchase.
Why do you request my measurements?
We request measurements so we can help you get the best possible fit. Sizing varies between brands, styles, and even fabrics. Providing your measurements allows our team to make informed recommendations and provide the personalized service we're known for.
I don’t see what I’m looking for. Is everything available online?
Not even close! Our in-store selection is much larger than what we can display online. If you're looking for something specific—or want to reorder a favorite style—message us! We can check our full inventory or even look up your past purchases if you're in our system. We’re happy to place special orders or help you find the perfect item in your size.
Why was I contacted with a size recommendation different from what I ordered?
Our goal is first-time fit success. If we believe the size you ordered might not be the best fit for your body or for the specific item, we’ll reach out with a recommendation. We never change your order without permission. If you'd like to compare, we can include both sizes for a home fitting. If our recommendation isn’t right, you can return it for a full refund. If you keep our recommended size and return the other, the return will follow our standard policy.
How much is shipping?
Domestic Shipping
Flat Rate: $10
Free Shipping on U.S. orders over $150
If returned items bring your total below $150, the original shipping charge will be deducted from your refund or credit.
International Shipping
Flat Rate: $30
Free Shipping on international orders over $250
Shipping fees are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for any duties or taxes upon delivery.
What is your Exchange / Return Policy?
Exchanges
We always aim to send the best size for your build, but sometimes a swap is needed!
Contact us within 7 days of delivery to consult on fit and request a Return Authorization (RA) number. Call us at 386-454-0994 or email lionslair@llswim.com
Items must be in new, unworn, unwashed condition with all tags attached
Need an exchange? We’re happy to help! With a complimentary remote fitting consultation, we’ll guide you on sizing—just send us the requested measurements and images, and we’ll cover shipping both ways on your first exchange on domestic orders.
Customers are responsible for shipping costs on any additional exchanges
Unauthorized or overdue returns may incur a 25% restocking fee
Returns
A Store credit will be issued for all eligible returns
Refunds, if requested instead of store credit, will incur a 7% restocking fee
Shipping charges are non-refundable
Complimentary shipping will be rescinded if kept items fall below the free shipping threshold
Important Notes
Sale and discounted items are final sale – not eligible for return or exchange
Special orders must be prepaid and are non-returnable, non-refundable, and not eligible for discounts or shipping credits
If your order included a gift with purchase, that item must be returned or the retail value will be deducted from your refund or credit.
How did Lion’s Lair get its name?
Lion’s Lair was founded in 1996 as an outlet for the artwork of our founder, Kimberly Berger. The original 700 sq ft store in the Florida Keys was named for the majestic cats that were her favorite subject. When Kimberly embarked on a journey to provide mix-and-match swimwear in hard-to-find sizes, the store expanded to 4,000 sq ft and became a destination for women seeking specialty fit in swimwear and lingerie. In 2019, we opened a second location in High Springs, Florida, which became our headquarters in 2023.
