How did Lion's Lair get its name?

Lion's Lair was founded in 1996 as an outlet for the artwork of our company's owner, Kimberly Berger. The original 700 sq ft store was named for the majestic cats that were her favorite subject. No longer an artist's studio, Lion's Lair's original brick and mortar Florida Keys location has grown to occupy 4000 sq ft, and has evolved into a destination store for women in search of specialty sizes. A second location was opened in High Springs, Florida in 2019.

Why do you want my measurements ?

Providing us with your measurements helps us ensure you receive the best size for your build. Every company sizes differently and sizes even vary with brands from style to style or between different fabrics. Working with your measurements helps us minimize returns & exchanges and enables us to provide you with the best service. As a thank you for providing your measurements we will issue you a $15 shipping credit on your first order.

I don't see what I am looking for. Is this everything that you offer?

The selection in our stores is vast and it is impossible for us to upload everything onto our website. Email us to receive a personalized inventory of what we have in stock in your size.  Want the same style that you bought from us 15 years ago? If you are in our system, we can look up your purchase history and find you the same fit you loved in the latest color trends. Looking for something specific? We are happy to place special orders and help you find exactly what you are looking for.

Why are you recommending a different size than I usually buy?

If we don't think the size that you are ordering is the best fit for you we will contact you and let you know. Our goal is first time fit success. We will never edit your order without your permission. If you would prefer to compare our recommended size with the size you are requesting, we can attach a home-fitting pass to our recommendation. If we are wrong, you can return the item for a full refund with no penalty. If you keep the size we recommend and return the size that you originally requested, it will be subject to our usual return policy.

What is your Shipping Policy?

Due to COVID supply chain issues, delivery times may take longer than normal. We ship via USPS Priority Mail. Shipping within the US is $15 but if you provide us with your measurements you will receive a $15 shipping credit on purchases over $200, that translates to complimentary Priority shipping. International customers are entitled to a $15 shipping credit on orders between $200 and $399 and complimentary shipping on orders over $400. Shipping credits will be reversed if returns cause the value of retained items to fall below the free shipping threshold.

Domestic USPS Priority Mail arrives 3-5 business days from date of shipment. Shipments within the United States will incur a $15 shipping & handling fee. Shipments to Canada will incur a $50 USD shipping & handling fee. All other destinations will be determined on an individual basis. All customs charges and any use taxes outside the state of Florida are the responsibility of the customer.
Expedited Shipping is available in the form of Priority Express Mail for an additional charge. Priority Mail Express is the fastest mail service offered by the Postal Service. It provides guaranteed 1-Day or 2-Day expedited service by 3 p.m. and includes $100 of insurance coverage. Express Mail requires a signature. If you choose to waive the signature requirement, the insurance becomes void.

What is your Return Policy?

We always aim to send you the best size for your build, but sometimes things need to be exchanged. Call us within 7 days of receiving your package to consult with us about fit and for a Return Authorization number. Items must have all tags intact, and be in new condition, never worn nor laundered.
A STORE CREDIT will be issued for all returned items. REFUNDS incur a $5.00 restocking fee per item.  Free shipping credits will be reversed when the value of retained items is less than the free shipping threshold. Overdue or unauthorized returns will result in a 25% restocking fee. Customers are responsible for shipping charges on all returned and exchanged items.
Special orders must be pre-paid, are non-refundable, non-returnable and do not qualify for discounts or shipping credits. Discounted items are Final Sale. Sale items are not subject to exchange or return. "Gift with purchase" items must be returned if the "purchased" item is returned. Failure to do so will result in you being charged the full retail price of the "gift" item.
